The Aiphone LEF-1C semi-flush mount Open Voice sub-master intercom with all-call and door-release buttons enables a door intercom system to extend its call answering capabilities into multiple rooms or over a large area. The sub-master intercom connects to an Aiphone LEF-C Series master intercom to link into the door answering system. With the use of an Aiphone BGR-10A control center (sold separately), visitor calls activate a chime in both the master and sub-master intercoms. The sub-master intercom's door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor. The all-call button broadcasts a message or music to every intercom connected to the system. The privacy button prevents other intercom users in the system from overhearing a conversation with another intercom. The audio and music volume is adjustable. The sub-master intercom can receive calls from the master intercom for internal communication. The housing is white plastic and mounts semi-flush to a surface using the included mounting hardware. Housing dimensions are 8-1/4 x 6-1/8 x 1-3/8 inches (H x W x D).
