2-wire DIN Rail mountable surge protector terminal block that is designed for all types of telecommunication equipment including ADSL, SDSL and SHDSL. This 170Vdc telecom surge protector offers a unique 3-stage protection circuit that ensures protection against surge voltages due to lightning or other causes. It is ideally suited for use with telecommunication lines, data lines or industrial buses. At only 6 mm wide, this 170Vdc telecom surge suppressor saves you space in your equipment while providing reliable surge voltage protection with a total surge current of 10 kA. The terminal block limits transients with gas discharge tubes, MOV and transient absorption diodes. Easily snaps on 35 mm DIN rail and works in an ambient temperature range of -40C to +80C. This surge suppressor accepts a wire range of 24 to 14 AWG and is enclosed in UL94V0 housing. Sold in packages of 1/EA and the end cover is included.
