The OMNIUS uses ultrasonic (US) technology to turn lighting on and off based on occupancy. Designed specifically for both areas with obstructions (e.g. columns, cubicles, stalls, and filing cabinets) and areas with long periods of minor-motion activity (e.g. typing), this sensor features Hubbell Building Automations patented IntelliDAPT technology, which makes all the sensor adjustments automatically. Throughout the products lifespan, smart software analyzes the controlled area and makes digital adjustments to sensitivity and timer settings. Occupancy sensors with IntelliDAPT provide a maintenance-free Install and Forget operation.
